Founded in the 1990’s, Trippen shoes have been the “go to” brand for women who want both unique fashion and comfort in their footwear. Inspired by a uniquely shaped wooden sole from the 1970’s, Angela Spieth and Michael Oehler began their journey to develop a sustainable collection of avant garde shoes designed to be timeless and to transcend trends. In 1998 they established their own factory in Germany, committing to the idea of combining modern design with environmental friendliness, sustainability and social responsibility. Now, thirty years later, the original wooden sole sandals along with a prolific number of feminine classic shapes to avant garde Japanese inspired shoes and boots have made Trippen a truly iconic brand.
