Shu Moriyama has been for many years Yohji Yamamoto’s collaborator. His clothes are a blend of asymmetries, volumes and shapes inspired to the rich clothing tradition of his own country, which goes beyond kimono. All this is enhanced by the use of fabrics that season after season reveal precious nuggets of the great and still not totally explored Japanese textile heritage.
